About the Journal

Revista Chilena de Estudios Medievales (ISSN 0719-2215 / eISSN 0719-689X) was established in 2012. It is a biannual publication from the Centre for Medieval Studies at Gabriela Mistral University in Chile. The journal publishes original academic works that contribute scholarly and specifically to medieval studies across various disciplines, including those arising from multidisciplinary integration. Since 2017, the journal has been published exclusively in digital format, with content available as open access for readers. It is indexed in several important databases, including SciELO, Latindex, ERIH Plus, and the Emerging Sources Citation Index (Clarivate Analytics). Additionally, it is included in Dialnet, the Modern Language Association (MLA), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Ibero-American Network of Innovation and Scientific Knowledge (REDIB), and the Latin American Network of Social Science and Humanities Journals (Latinrev). The journal accepts articles in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, all of which undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
