Abstract

In modern human resource management, optimizing staff attendance is essential to ensure operational efficiency and productivity in any work environment, Cascio W. F. (2019). As technology advances, there is an opportunity to replace traditional paper- or card-based attendance recording systems with digital solutions that offer greater accuracy, automation and security. In this context, it is proposed to visualize the digitalized personnel counting system that takes advantage of biometric technology to record the entry and exit of personnel accurately and efficiently, Jain, A. K., Ross, A., and Nandakumar, K. (2016). The use of fingerprint readers allows for unique and secure identification of each employee when entering the workplace. This approach not only eliminates the potential for human error inherent in manual methods, but also streamlines the registration process, improving the employee experience and reducing time spent on administrative tasks. These systems provide clear visual indicators that show the presence status of each employee, allowing supervisors and managers to have an instant view of who is present in the workplace at any time. As a result, it is concluded that these features not only improve time management and resource planning, but also facilitate communication and collaboration between staff and the administration team. To guarantee the security and integrity of the data, the system operates in a centralized and secure database infrastructure, with restricted and role-controlled access, Gómez-Mejía, L. R., Balkin, D. B., & Cardy, R. L. (2016).
