Abstract

This article intended to show a more preponderant activity of spiritual creatures, as efficient
second causes of the universe, both from the philosophy of nature perspective, as well
as, although with due delimitations, the contemporary physics. Only by accepting that

causality we can give complete account of the movement of the universe from a philo-
sophycal formality, and it allows physics to be placed in greater unity with metaphysics,

without losing its autonomy.
