Abstract

Clinical simulation in nursing has become a fundamental part of the training of future nurses, considering the confinement caused by the covid 19 pandemic. This scenario promoted the use of virtual tools, such as the vSim (®) software to achieve the competencies practices for students who need to maintain their training without seeing a decrease in the quality of teaching, as a result of the decrease in the clinical field in health. In this sense, through the following work, the experience in virtual clinical simulation in second-year nursing students at a Chilean university is shared. Which is viewed as an effective tool to achieve the level's competencies, which, although it has been achieved, has implied a challenge for both students and teachers.
