TLACAÉLEL: THE GUARDIAN OF VALUES

Abstract

Tlacaélel: The Guardian of Values ​​is an educational video game that uses stories and interactive questions to teach core values ​​such as empathy, self-control, respect, gratitude, and honesty. Our goal is to help children develop valuable life skills and become more compassionate and responsible individuals. As a result, an interactive video game was developed, featuring fantastic narratives and specialized children's stories, to foster creativity, interest, critical thinking, and empathy in a fun and effective way among children in our society. After analyzing the data obtained, it was observed that despite a clear reduction in children's knowledge and daily application of values, there is still a small group of children who know, understand, and apply the few values ​​they know and strive to maintain exemplary behavior, both in their school, social, and family environments.
