Abstract

In an increasingly digitalized world, the protection of information and technological systems has become a strategic priority for organizations across all sectors. This research focuses on a documentary review of cybersecurity technologies, with the aim of identifying tools and practices that can benefit organizations globally. Implementing cybersecurity strategies is essential to building a robust defense framework that protects digital assets from external attacks, thereby safeguarding sensitive information that could compromise the stability and reputation of companies. The migration from traditional technological infrastructures, known as on-premises platforms, to cloud computing environments represents a significant shift in how security is approached. This approach not only offers greater robustness and scalability, but also introduces additional layers of protection through advanced tools such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and the adaptation of Zero-Trust architectures. This research seeks to analyze these technologies from both a technical and strategic perspective, highlighting their importance in protecting digital assets and ensuring operational sustainability in an interconnected world.Artificial intelligence is marking a significant technological advancement in how we monitor, prevent, and respond to cybersecurity threats. Additionally, cloud-based solutions allow for the integration of disaster recovery plans, such as geo-redundancy, which distribute data across multiple global regions. This approach not only strengthens information security but also ensures service continuity in the event of technical failures or catastrophic events, thus minimizing risks and optimizing operational resilience.
