Abstract

The purpose of this research was the development of a web interface for the operational management of image display devices in augmented reality, focused on the authors Pressman (2005), Cohen (2005) and Lewis (2005). Likewise, the type of research was classified as projective, descriptive, field and documentary; with a non-experimental design of descriptive transectional type. Regarding the population, it was finite, made up of twenty-five (25) workers from the selected companies. Regarding data collection techniques, direct observation and documentary review were used; using the observation guide, visit guide, and interview guide as instruments, in order to determine the current process and the necessary requirements for the development of the program. The methodology for the development of the web application was proposed by the authors Senn (2003), Sommerville (2002) and Powell (2001), structured in six (6) phases: Preliminary investigation, definition of system requirements, system design, dissection of the design phase, subsystem development and testing. The objective of the web application is to operationally manage the image display devices sold by selected companies. The application made under a multiplatform system, coded in PHP as the main programming language and MySQL as the database manager. As a result, an application adapted to the user's needs was obtained, meeting the general objective of the project, therefore its use is recommended for those organizations that need said system. To finalize and comply with the last phase of the methodology, the operation of the web application for the operational management of image display devices was demonstrated through tests, from operation to visual acceptance and user satisfaction, this was carried out with data fictitious data that the client entered as a test, which resulted in acceptance by the user.
