The purpose of this research is to design a testing process focused on the automation of quality
tests in the database, in order to improve the efficiency in the review of computer audit tests, whose
title is Automation of Tasks in Databases for Audit Processes. The main references used in the
development of this manuscript were Menéndez Arantes (2023) and Weber (1988) for the precept
of Computer Auditing, together with Hamilton (2024) with testing strategies. Likewise, the
Methodological process used the steps of the author Hamilton (2024), which consisted of Types
of Software Testing, Automation of Database Tests, Tools and Practices for Automation in
Databases, Quality Metrics and Efficiency in Test Automation, ending with Documentation and
Analysis of Results. In conclusion, manual automation of databases is a fundamental process to
improve efficiency and productivity in information management. Thus, with the implementation
of automated tools and techniques, repetitive tasks have been simplified, to reduce human errors
and speed up response time in data handling. Therefore, the positive impact of automation in
database management has been explored, where resource optimization and improved decision
making are highlighted. Thus, by delegating routine tasks to automated systems, time has been
freed up for professionals to focus on more strategic and creative tasks.
