5G Network and Health, Does this new technology have any health risks?

Abstract

A documentary review was carried out on the bibliographic production published in the Scopus database on the 5G Network variable and its implications for Health, with the purpose of knowing how it has evolved over the years, the bibliography on the proposed topic, and the scope that science has given in the study of the behavior of this type of network around the functioning of the human body taking into account the installation of antennas in remote locations to populations. Through the Search tool provided by Scopus, through the definition of various filters applied to it, a total of 348 documents published during the period between 2016 and 2020 are identified. In this way, a significant growth of the search is determined. research related to the 5G network and its impact on the health of human beings. Once the search parameters were identified, a qualitative analysis of the theories framed in the topic related above was carried out, to describe the position of some authors regarding the use of this type of network and to define if there is any risk to health.
