Abstract

The purpose of this research article is to analyze the need for an alternative transactional network for microfinance institutions in Venezuela, legally constituted under different forms, such as savings and credit cooperatives, rural banks and other types of civil associations that are responsible for managing the activities for savings and loans from their communities, with the vision of meeting the digital banking needs of individuals and companies in the social and alternative economy in Venezuela. In this sense, a comparative analysis will be made between experiences of Latin American countries and the world where microfinance institutions have successfully developed this type of technological, microfinance and social alliances, being that such innovations have allowed them to evolve and provide a competitive range of new services to the financial markets of their countries and the world.
